Texas Woman's University to use StatBroadcast in 2012-13

DENTON, TEXAS -- Texas Woman's University has selected the StatBroadcast Live stats platform as its official stats provider for the 2012-13 school year.

Texas Woman's University is a public co-educational university located in Denton, Texas. Founded in 1901, the school is known as the largest state-supported university for women in the nation, though since 1994, the school has accepted male students into all of its programs. TWU is one of only four public universities in the state that are not affiliated with any of the state's six public university systems. The TWU Pioneers compete in womens sports only at the NCAA Division II level as a member of the Lone Star Conference; they currently sponsor basketball, soccer, volleyball, softball and gymnastics; the TWU gymnastics program has won a record nine team national championships since 1993, most recently in 2008, and finished runner-up in 2010.
