Dallas Baptist University to use StatMonitr in 2012-13

DALLAS, TEXAS -- Dallas Baptist University and StatBroadcast Systems have reached agreement to use the StatMonitr media stats system and wireless stat monitors for home athletic events during the 2012-13 school year.

Dallas Baptist University is a private university located in Dallas, Texas. Originally foudned in 1898 as Decatur Baptist College, Dallas Baptist has a current enrollment of 5,500 students. The Dallas Baptist Patriots sponsor 13 athletic teams at the Division II level as a member of the Heartland Conference; Dallas Baptist also sponsors varsity baseball at the Division I level. The Patriot baseball team will play as a member of the Western Athletic Conference this season before moving to the Missouri Valley Conference for the 2014 season. The Patriots won the 2011 Fort Worth Regional, advancing to the Super Regional round for the first time in school history.
