Towson University chooses StatBroadcast Live for 2013-14

TOWSON, MD. -- Towson University has agreed to terms with StatBroadcast to use the StatBroadcast Live platform to simulcast live stats from its athletic events during the 2013-14 academic year.

Towson University is a public university located in Towson, Maryland, just north of Baltimore. Towson was foudned in 1866 as the state's first teacher training school and is now one of the largest public universities in Maryland with an enrollment of 21,950. The Towson Tigers are members of the Colonial Athletic Association of NCAA Division I and compete in 20 varsity sports. After winning the CAA championship in 2011 and qualifying for the FCS playoff, the Towson football squad became the first team in NCAA history to have competed in the NCAA tournament at the DI, DII and DIII level.
