Furman University adds StatBroadcast Live, StatMonitr

GREENVILLE, SC -- Furman University has added the StatBroadcast Live platform to its multimedia offerings for fans this year, which will allow the simulcast of live stats from athletic events via the web and mobile devices. Furman has also reached agreement with StatBroadcast to use the StatMonitr media stats system and screens for 2013-14.

Furman University is a private liberal arts college in Greenville, South Carolina, and one of the oldest institutions in the state. Foudned in 1826, it currently enrolls 2,700 students. The Furman Paladins are members of the Southern Conference of NCAA Division I FCS and compete in 18 varsity sports. The Furman football team has three times appeared in the NCAA I-AA (now known as FCS) championship game, including capturing the title in 1988.
