University of Houston chooses StatMonitr through 2016

HOUSTON, TEXAS -- The University of Houston will use the StatMonitr media stats system at its remaining athletic events during this current academic year as well as during next year's 2015-16 academic year to deliver real-time stats feeds to media and staff, StatBroadcast announced today.

The University of Houston is a state research university and the flagship of the UH Systems. Founded in 1927, it is Texas' third-largest university with an enrollment of almost 41,000. The Houston Cougars compete at the NCAA Division-I FBS level as members of the American Athletic Conference and sponsor 17 varsity sports. The Houston men's basketball team has qualified for the NCAA tournament on 19 occasions, which includes three straight appearances in the Final Four (1982-84) and two national runner-up finishes (83, 84).
