Sunshine State Conference inks a conference-wide deal with StatBroadcast for live stats in 2018-19

MELBOURNE, FLA. --

The Sunshine State Conference has signed an agreement with StatBroadcast to provide a real-time league scoreboard and simulcasts of live stats for the athletic events of all 11 of its members as well as its conference championships throughout the 2018-19 academic year.

The SSC is a Division II athletic conference with 11 members, all located in the state of Florida, sponsoring 18 varsity sports. Established in 1975, SSC institutions have won a total of 104 NCAA national championships, including seven in the 2014-15 academic year, a conference record.

As part of the agreement, conference members Barry University, Eckerd Cllege, Embry-Riddle, Florida Tech, Lynn University and Nova Southeastern University will all begin using the StatBroadcast platform this season; members Florida Southern, Palm Beach Atlantic, Rollins, Saint Leo and Tampa previously contracted with StatBroadcast and will continue to do so.

The SSC is the first Division II conference to agree to a conference-wide mandate with StatBroadcast and joins Division I conferences CAA, Sun Belt and Big Ten as conference that have partnered exclusively with StatBroadcast for all of their members.
